Hastelloy C22 is the acceptable tungsten, nickel, chromium, and molybdenum based austenitic alloy. It is having good resistance to SCC, pitting and crevice corrosion. The content of chromium is providing it resistance to oxidizing media and tungsten/molybdenum provides it reducing media resistance. It too resists oxidizing acid chloride, seawater, chemical solutions, etc.

Hastelloy C276 is the chromium, nickel, and molybdenum based alloy having tungsten too that assures corrosion resistance at high-temperature atmosphere. Addition to molybdenum and nickel assures crevice corrosion and pitting resistance. Furthermore, this nickel based alloy resists grain boundary precipitation formations.
